By chance I decided to get up early and take BrĂ¼no for a walk down along the Hudson. So glad that I did. I was unaware of this morning’s events, so it was a surprise to me when I saw a swarm of choppers over the river. I decided to head out the end of Pier 45 to see what the root of this flurry was, upon which I saw this slate beast heading up the river towards me. (along with at least 40 other boats and a dozen helicopters) What a site to see this gorgeous vessel, crafted from the steel of remnants of the WTC, stride around the city. I felt great pride for our country and was reminded of the career my grandfather served courageously in our Navy.
